Howl like a wolf…
And we messed after all. KTS. Soundcheck. Dug-u-dug-tak! Then the wailing begins… After less than a minute, there were applauses and screaming. I thought they loved the intro. I was swept to reckon that the effort we gave in practicing for the event was well appreciated, but I was wrong. It was only the other night that I’ve seen the video of our performance and in great ignominy, sleep came later than I’ve expected. The intro not a little nor lot but wholly offkey. Not a note was hit right. Imagine the shame if anybody who watched KTS recognizes me when they meet me in school. Dang! Not one of my friends told me that it was that bad, of it was bad. All they said was we did well, yeah, it was good. I think so too except for that first part. Only that part. Maybe that’s why I never saw John smile while he was playing unlike that when he played for Zealots. He gave that refreshing smile that tells you immediately when you see it, you can tell he’s having a good time. Oh, John… I worry not though, because I’ll be seeing him again, hopefully ’cause we’re having a gig in Dasma and he’ll probably be playing for us again. I wish. I wish.
Uh, oh! It’ll be Ewige Sorge’s first time at "Buntisan". Ahaha! This is different from what you think Butisan is. It’s an Art Experience @ Arroz Ja. I don’t really know what goes on in there but I’ll know when we get there. By the way, Vince’s brother, Sir Dok, is one of the organizer’s of this event and hopefully, unlike the COS GA, this one turns out a lot better. Man, this is our first gig outside the school since we weren’t able to play for the Free Jam @ Cardinal’s Village because I wasn’t able to inform the others and to register the group but we’ll have other opportunities next time, and till then…
The only word that best describes this occasion is… PALPAK! The event itself, the sound system, the flow of the program… Yun lang!
Up next… COS General Assembly! Were we actually invited? Dunno! But I’m glad we didn’t have to be screened to play for GA. I hope they put as back-to-back with Zealots so they can see the shift. I think we’re doing another song! Haha! Vince, you lost! Majority, that’s 3 is to 2, opposed the song that Vince suggested. Mark was with him but Cresta, Jerome and I are against it so we won’t be having The Modern End. We’ll be playing, probably, Aquarius and A Dangerous Mind and for soundcheck… The fabulous Jillian! We’re rehearsing this Saturday and the GA will be on Wednesday! Hope to see our friends there. We need some support.

We didn’t mess up, I think. Hehe! The feedbacks I got was good but there’s one thing very wrong about that show, our slot. Our song is Gothic and we had to sing it, like, 1600 in the afternoon. The sun was still up. We didn’t get the mood we wanted to give the audience, a spooky feel. If only we were given atleast the 1730 or 1800 slot, things could’ve been better. Well, we’ll be playing at the COS General Assembly and hopefully, at the Cardinal’s Village where they’ll be holding this FreeJam. I think Zealots will be there too and that makes things better…
A’ryty! We’re in. We’re playing in KTS! Be sure to watch. I just hope we don’t mess up, Haha! By the way, new pictures have been posted. Taken in front of TJF, taken by Marc Louie Omampo (he owns the camera and who would better know how to use that but him), and edited by LEiGS (that’s me! I did it with my Adobe Photoshop CS 2… well?! Haha! and I am the one updating this blog ’cause nobody would). We had a jamming yesterday (it’s already morning!) and we met the one playing keyboards for Zealots. It was really a lot of fun and… Well, it’s fun.

You read all right, we’re definitely back. First gig, KTS. Not sure if we’re in yet but hopefully we can play there. The design for the cover of the First album is done already though we’re not having any album yet. The official logo will be up but will take some time since the concept is still being worked on with. We’re also having our official blogs. So, that’s it for now. If we’re in, we’ll let you know.
